Edinburgh Sabre Club is a new fencing club started in October 2021
Our passion is the Olympic Fencing sport of Sabre
Our aim is to build a thriving club of competitive sabre fencers “sabreurs” from child beginner to senior internationals who all contribute to and are rewarded by being part of the wider sabre and fencing community.
The club aims to:
1) Give children learning the sport a safe, happy and enthusiastic experience and environment to learn, grow and challenge themselves and to be themselves.
2) To inspire our members to aspire and drive toward competitive performance and excellence
3) To inspire our members to live their best and fullest lives
4) To contribute positively to society and our community in Edinburgh
Here is a list of our club committee members

Felicia is a former National Squad athlete. She has been competing for her country Romania since she was 13 years old. During this time she has won several national championships and other international diplomas.
She has extensive experience in fencing sabre development and she also brings extra knowledge that she accumulated through her years of international fencing.
In her class children will learn the basics of fencing, develop athletic skills and teamwork. Felicia likes to run her classes in an upbeat atmosphere putting emphasis on fun, wellbeing and skill development.
Edinburgh Sabre Club has three volunteers who have now completed their Welfare Officer training. They are Kirsten Dunne, Weronika Sawicka & Mairi Torrie.
They monitor our welfare email address so please do make contact through that.
